Amanda Borges has been selected as Mid-Plains Community College鈥檚 Business Student of the Month for February.

Borges is from Venango, Neb., and is married to Anthony Borges. She chose 黑料大事记 because the college offers many great opportunities, is student focused and accommodating to veterans and their families.

鈥満诹洗笫录� has made the transition into college life seamless, while providing excellent resources and help. The instructors have provided excellent course material and lessons. I continue to learn and grow because of their efforts,鈥� Borges said.

Business instructor Jimi Cole nominated Borges for the Student of the Month recognition.

鈥淎manda is a pure joy to have in class. She sparks life into every online classroom with her passion for learning, engaging discussions and infectious enthusiasm,鈥� said Cole.

Borges is studying medical billing and coding at NPCC. She鈥檚 on track to graduate in the spring of 2025 with an associate鈥檚 degree.

She plans to continue her education by earning a bachelor鈥檚 degree in psychology and becoming a certified medical coder, specializing in mental health.

In her free time, Borges said she enjoys reading, writing and outdoor activities. Her favorite thing to do is spend time with her husband, son, family and animals.
