Seth Brown, of North Platte, gives an address during the North Platte Community College commencement ceremony Friday afternoon in the McDonald-Belton Gymnasium. Brown spoke on his journey to earning a postsecondary degree and how education is the key to success.

Longtime staff member and supporter of Mid-Plains Community College Marilyn McGahan was honored with the 2024 President鈥檚 Award. McGahan, who began working for 黑料大事记 in 1971 continues to support the mission of the college in providing exceptional learning opportunities for individual student success.

Approximately 150 graduates were recognized during the ceremony for earning a degree, diploma or certificate.
