Mid-Plains Community College employee Susan Furrow has been honored with a You Rock Award for going above and beyond to provide exemplary internal customer service.

Furrow is a Learning Commons assistant in North Platte. She was nominated for the recognition by Bobbi Muehlenkamp, Learning Commons director.

鈥淪usan provides exemplary customer service every day in the Learning Commons,鈥� said Muehlenkamp. 鈥淪he is a bright spot in the day of anyone who steps into the Learning Commons. She works diligently to provide a welcoming, comfortable environment for students, faculty, staff and visitors.鈥�

Furrow was recognized with a plaque and certificate Thursday for her efforts.
