Members of North Platte Community College鈥檚 Medical Laboratory Technician program spent Wednesday afternoon participating in a quiz bowl. They competed against other MLT and medical laboratory science students from schools across the state.

The activity, which included a pizza party, was in celebration of Medical Laboratory Professionals Week.

NPCC鈥檚 representatives were split into two teams. One team, consisting of: Montannia Courtney, Gabriel Marquez, Olivia Davis and Ashleigh Olson, all of North Platte and Emily Foley, of Gothenburg, placed first among the MLTs and second overall.

The second team, made up of Keshia Leeper, of Madrid; Savanna Stevens, of Ogallala; Kylee Goodrich, of North Platte; Hailey Phipps, of Whitman and Annah Wareham, of Hershey, tied for second among all participating MLT programs.
