Professional barrel racer and motivational speaker Amberley Snyder signs autographs following a presentation at North Platte Community College Tuesday afternoon. The college鈥檚 Student Life Department also hosted Snyder in Ogallala on Monday.

Snyder is the subject of the Netflix movie, 鈥淲alk. Ride. Rodeo,鈥� released in 2019. The biopic focuses on her journey leading up to and following a vehicle accident that left her paralyzed from the waist down.

Since then, Snyder has become one of the most sought-after social influencers and motivational speakers in western sports.

Approximately 275 attended her presentation at NPCC where she shared her story of triumph over tragedy.

鈥淒on鈥檛 ever compare your challenge to somebody else,鈥� Snyder told the audience. 鈥淓ach one of us is going to have our own challenges and our own way of handling them. There is always someone praying for what you have.鈥�
