North Platte Community College maintenance technician Travis Wiese has been recognized with a You Rock Award for demonstrating exemplary internal customer service.

Wiese was nominated for the award by the college鈥檚 nursing faculty.

鈥淭ravis is always coming to our rescue,鈥� his nomination letter reads. 鈥淎ny time we need to have anything fixed in the nursing department he is more than willing to help out - even if it is not part of his regular job. The nursing faculty appreciate him going above and beyond.鈥�

Wiese received a commemorative plaque and certificate for his efforts Monday in NPCC鈥檚 Health and Science Center.
