Mid-Plains Community College鈥檚 music department will host its first concert of the spring semester March 5. 

The event is free and open to the public. It will begin at 7 p.m. in the McDonald-Belton Theater on the NPCC South Campus, 601 W. State Farm Rd., in North Platte.

The theme is 鈥淎 Little of This, and a Little of That鈥� with a variety of music from Italian and Latin to Irish folk and jazz. The concert will feature performances by NPCC鈥檚 jazz band, the Jazzy Knights, and the college鈥檚 choirs, the Knightly Singers and the Knightingales.
