Kodi Holdren of Brush, Colo., has been selected as Mid-Plains Community College鈥檚 Business Student of the Month for December.

鈥満诹洗笫录� has the best program for what I wanted to do. I also really liked the feel of the town because it isn鈥檛 super big, but it is bigger than my hometown,鈥� she said about attending school in North Platte.

Holdren is studying Business Entrepreneurship and was nominated for the honor by 黑料大事记 Business Instructor Angie Chittick.

鈥淜odi is such a delightful student. She comes to class every day with a smile on her face and a passion for learning. Kodi鈥檚 work is exemplary. She is detail-oriented and works hard to ensure her work is done correctly. Kodi鈥檚 enthusiasm and strong work ethic make her a great candidate for this recognition,鈥� said Chittick.

Holdren is on track to graduate in the spring of 2027 and plans to return to her hometown to open a bakery.
